NWS JAX even mentioning 97 and possible effects here

#1 Postby hurricanedude » Mon Jul 04, 2005 2:10 pm

.LONG TERM...FRI THRU MON...MUCH UNCERTAINTY IN THE EXTENDED
FORECAST DUE TO MODELS INDICATING AN AREA LOW PRESSURE APPROACHING
THE FL STRAITS BY SUNDAY. MEAN LAYER TROUGHING IS EXPECTED OVER THE
MID ATLANTIC REGION...WITH A RIDGE AXIS OVER FL. AT THIS TIME...
HAVE INDICATED SLIGHTLY COOLER THAN CLIMO TEMPS (NEAR 90) AND
INCREASED POPS SOME TO NEAR 40-45% FOR THIS TIME PERIOD AS THE
EVOLUTION AND TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM IS HIGHLY UNCERTAIN. WILL ALLUDE
TO THE POSSIBILITY OF THIS SYSTEM AFFECTING THE LOCAL AREA THIS
WEEKEND IN THE HWO.
