what will this mean? Also, what impact with the EPAC "system" have on #3?

Not really a long time... probably 18-24 hours. Should maintain intensity and then strengthen into a storm over the Gulf.

The broad circulation should survive without a problem, the Yucatan is flat and moisture laden. So its not like it's gonna get ripped apart by the mountains of Hispaniola like in other cases.

I wouldn't expect any significant strengthening, but it could become more organized as it moves over the peninsula.

I still think the center is reforming and will just CLIP the Yuc!

yep. STILL!!! and I have my reasons too. Have been out all day, but will probably post a full analysis thread within an hour or so.

I agree with wxboy, its going to go over very little land. When it gets there, it won't be there long before it emerges again. Less than 10 hours I'd say. IMO

I hate to say it, but I'm beginning to agree with you. Earlier when you said it was moving NW, it threw me off because it wasn't. Now it does look like a better center is forming.
