Ive been looking at Satellite Loops and just south of west central Cuba (where the upper low is ) looks to be some inflow into a possible LLC? I don't know see what you think. I welcome your opinion! I don't know if it is some weird reaction with the upper low are an LLC.

I'm not sure I see it, but it does seem to be more impressive than it was all day long and into the night. Quite a large blow up of convection just south of Jamaica. It certainly looks better to me, however I still don't see a definite circulation. Could be one, my eyes are really tired. I think we'll have a little better handle on this when the sun comes up and we get some visible shots. I still say it has a pretty good chance of development. IMO

After looking at bouy data, and Jamaica surface observations, I don't see anything but East winds. Doubt there is an LLC, but it sure looks like it on Sat. IMHO :D

Just looked at the latest infrared loop and at the end of the loop the last couple images I see what you were talking about. It does look like a circulation, probably in the mid levels. I think it may just work its way down by the looks of things. I guess its hurry up and wait.

You can see it good here. It looks like bands feeding in under the big cloud deck. Look at the bottom right corner under Cuba!

There is nothing there yet. But that area of energy/heat is starting to become oreganized with an a area from 15 north to 19 north/81 to 77 west. In with that ULL backing the outflow Jet is starting to show. The upper level enviroment looks favable at this time. With the buoys showing no surface future/Quickscat. It will likely be a slow development if at all.

Another reason why this area must be watched. The shear has decreased over it at 10 to 15 knots. In the whole Gulf of Mexico is favable.

The Cmc is developing something. It takes it west-northwest into the BOC or southern Gulf of Mexico.

The Gfdl is also agreeing with the Cmc.

The 00z Gfs takes a small piece of energy into the Yact. Then into the BOC.
