Let's wait and see how July unfolds in terms of how many named storms will form and where they will form.However we well may have an inactive month with nothing developing but personnally I dont think July will go blank.

That lone dot in the first 10 days of July in the central Atlantic would be Bertha in 1996. Almost the same spot that our large tropical wave is sitting right now. And remember, Bertha was classified a depression on July 4th. Interesting to say the least.

Yep the red dot well east is Bertha which the eye passed around 25 miles from my house.
