Ship reports showing something interesting

#1 Postby Matt-hurricanewatcher » Thu Jun 30, 2005 5:27 pm

That tropical distrabance near 33 west/12 north. One ship report shows a east wind across the top while the ship to the southwest of there is showing a south wind.

That would show that there is at least a sharp tropical wave. Plus the convection seems to have flared a little.

Go to Atlantic southern area. Then press obs/surface reports.

Looking at it it appears to be a very small system. But has nice northward outflow. With a small ball of convection near the center.
