The mm5Fsu model shows a storm coming from this system moving into the Southern GOM. Also shows it to be quite a storm.

Very interesting that the eye-like feature has persisted. I really think this has a shot.

I don't recall the NHC using "FORESEEN" much at all in TWO's.

They are expanding their vocabulary, adding a little spice to the mix.

Maybe since they got burned on "tropical storm formation is not expected THROUGH Tuesday"...they decided to alter their choice of words. Maybe should have done that in 2001 when they ignored the blob that was Allison in the morning TWO.

That "eye" is most likely a collapsed thunderstorm. If we could see under the clouds we would probably see an outflow boundary. Definitely going to be watching this area for any signs of development.

I think this disclaimer stuff is utterly hilarious.

Is it really necessary to scream "THIS IS A JOKE FORECAST"?

Given that someone may take it seriously or just not "get it", yes it is.

If someone takes a post like that seriously, they deserve to have their internet privledges revoked.
