I think something occurred. There has to be a reason why he started the video off talking about not dogging the TPC. In fact he will not even use the name of a tropical system.

JB discussed at length, yesterday, as to why he was no longer gonna discuss or be critical of the TPC, NHC, ABC, FYI....ETC. He is tired of making complaints and valid points (in his view) that fall on deaf ears. Therefore he request that no one even write or mention them again to him. Oh well, he should know from the start that his opinion is just that, just like everyone elses. He can't change them and they cant change him, so quit already. LOL

Joe Bastardi is a middle age man going on 5.

I made an exception and watched his video this morning. I guess you can call it a sick curiosity. I find his comments disturbing, childish, and without merit.

Then again, this is nothing out of the ordinary. I just can't believe he said the NHC has an agenda. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

I have accused the NHC of having an agenda in the past. Basically, I accused the NHC folks of naming bogus system. They (NHC) IMO were padding the numbers to get increased government funding. Simply put, more named systems more government monies for research, operations ect......MGC

Come on dh, it's more than a little knowledge. Bastardi acted like a baby today which was why I referenced it in the other thread. But he's got more than a little knowledge. He's incredible with pattern recognition. That's all there is to it.

Just because someone is talked about a lot doesn't make them top notch. Many people, including dictators (not saying Mr. Bastardi is a dictator, I'm not saying anything positive or negative about him) are talked a lot about, but are not so "grand."

I like JB and would love to read his write ups if I didn't have to pay too much, but at least I can watch his video for free. I too get frustrated with the NHC for the way they talk over the average persons head and seem to never talk straight and try to explain their view. Its our tax money paying the salary of the Mets @ the TPC. So speak in layman's language for us average Joe out here. So OK that was the the negative, here is the positive. Once a storm is called I think the NHC does a fantastic job on their discussions and they are getting darn good on the 5 day outlook. One word of advice to the JB bashers.. "Dont throw rocks in a glass house"
