Tropical Weather Outlook
Statement as of 10:30 PM EDT on June 27, 2005
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico...
Thunderstorm activity in the Bay of Campeche has increased this
evening in association with a trough of low pressure. Upper-level
winds...currently unfavorable for development...could become
somewhat more favorable over the next day or two in this area.
However...proximity to land is expected to limit the potential
development of this system.
Elsewhere...tropical storm formation is not expected through
Wednesday.

ITS GOING TO HIT NORTH CAROLINA!
J/k Mobile... i think you all are going to start to get soaked in the next 24 hours....
It seems like we have no hope for dryness in sight here in sunny south fla. And my weather station just started acting up.... i might need a new battery, or to clean the solar cells.
This most likely on't make a name.. but will be a strong soaking depression, based on current synoptics.

I agree. How close are you to setting a record for rainfall? I have not even looked at the rainfall totals but I noticed it's been raining their pretty much every day.
