Nothing organized yet, though the NHC said in their latest discusion that area may become more favorable in the days ahead.

My guess is the system near Hondorus will become Bret.

I'm pretty sure that's not an area we're looking at... Nothing has come from the NHC, as far as I know. And it's interesting that you've stolen yoda's avatar there... Just thought I would add that.

Sure doesn't look like much to me...

He didn't think it would develope any further if it did. He also feels it will stay off our coast. More rain though, something we don't need any more of.

South Florida has literally seen the sun just a few times in the past month...I'm getting tired of it really. It rains all the time....

The area SW of Jamaica looks like TD material to me. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it were to become one within the next 24 hours.

Tonight's buoy data from the system all over south Florida and adjacent waters are not showing any signs of the pressure dropping. With that I think it is safe to say it wont become a depression in the next 12-24hrs.

Miami NWS alludes to the wave "along or east of the Florida coast"

BOTH THE 18Z NAM AND GFS SEEM TO AGREE NOW ON A SCENARIO OF A WEAK
LOW MOVING FROM THE NORTHEAST COAST OF CUBA THROUGH THE BAHAMAS AND
NORTHWARD ALONG OR EAST OF THE FLORIDA EAST COAST. COULD BE AN OPEN
WAVE OR A CLOSED LOW AND THAT WILL DETERMINE WIND DIRECTION FOR
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. BOTH MODELS STILL SHOW DRIER AIR COMING AROUND
THE SOUTH SIDE OF THIS WAVE/LOW FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WHICH SHOULD
GIVE US A BIT OF A BREAK...BUT CONFIDENCE IN THIS DRIER AIR IS NOT
HIGH AT THIS TIME. PERSISTENCE MAY BE THE BETTER CHOICE BUT NEXT
SHIFT WILL HAVE ANOTHER RUN TO LOOK OVER.

Things do seem fishy to me too. I just have a feeling something will form out of this to the east of Florida. It looks like its starting to come together.
