Which area has the best chance of developing into a Tropical Depression in the next 48 hours?

I think there is way to much shear but I will go with the invest

I was going to go with the SW Carribean, but the convection isn't looking
too well this afternoon. The Invest has done well for itself, so I'm
betting on it.

The GOM system will be interesting to watch, but I don't expect
development. Then again, it is hurricane season!

I say none. I don't see any of them being able to develop in the next 48 hours unless conditions change dramatically!

I gotta go with "none" on this one. I know 94L is raising numerous people's interests, including mine, as is the area in the SW Caribbean. As interesting as they may be, I see no development from any of three systems.

According to the NHC conditions are "somewhat favorable" now.

Seems to me that I read the question differently than most/everyone else.

With the question worded the way it is, I don't see why so many people are saying 'none'. If the question, was worded 'Which of these systems will develop into a TD within 48 hours', then I could see a large number of 'none' votes, but the question isn't worded tht way.

With the question worded the way it is (best chance), I would think none would be a valid option if and only if one rated the chances equally unlikely for all three systems.

I voted for the Invest as it seems to me the only one that has any sort of chance, however unlikely it may be...

The Invest has the best chance... but I don't see anything coming of it. It's near 10,000 foot mountains right now and conditions will be becoming more unfavorable for development as it moves into the Bahamas.
