I said 1. It seems like it will be an active year, so I'll take a jab at it and say we'll see the next storm in the end of July as a Cape Verde storm.
This is not a forecast, just my humble opinion.

I'm just going to go against the grain and say it will be quiet until August. This is purely a speculative guess.

Normally I would say 1. But I believe because of extremely warm SST's there could possibly be 2.

I voted none based solely on the fact that conditions still are not
quite right for development. Maybe by the end of July, conditions
will be favorable, and then we're gonna see some monsters.
