I thought so.

I was thinking either that or the library internet servers are playing with tricks with me...again.

The problems are being caused by a member that was banned this morning. The same person caused the same type of problems for Easternuswx last night. We have the logs and have reported him to his ISP.

This is the first time I've been able to get in since about 11:30am EDT. It's been coming up "Page Cannot be Displayed"

Brent it has comed and gone since 11:30 AM EDT not down all the time.It is sad that someone wants to cause harm to a community board like storm2k.

It is amazing how some people behave....simply astonishing.

I'll refrain from further comments so I don't have to ban myself. :grr:

Unfortunately it can take 24 hours or more to get action through the abuse system. We're pushing it as hard as we can so please try and hang in there with us. :-)

Kelly the world where we live on has a majority of the people behaving good but there are the minority bad people which dont care about anything and like to cause harm and then the good people have to pay what those wackos do sadly I say. :grrr:

Can't these losers waste their time like normal losers do? Go watch Jerry Springer and leave the boards alone.

I wont disclose this persons identity but he is probably using a very simple method to wreak havoc on us. He passed himself off as an adult but sometimes I wonder if hes not a teen with too much time on his hands.

It's probably another one of those 'slim shady' usernames, I'm not too sure.

Just to update everyone, I spoke with the investigator at Comcast tonight. He now has the log files from our server and the chatroom that show without a doubt who was behind today's trouble. Anyone got a short rope and a tall tree?

Thanks for everyone's patience today!

Hey everyone..just a heads up.

Apparently "great one" saw a comment I made in the tropical forum about earning respect (re: the pro met sticker), and he just sent me a very nasty email....among other things, said he was a much better forecaster than me, and that his hurricane forecasts last season were excellent (of course he also said Charley was a 160 mph cat-5 ;)

G.O. also seems extremely agitated with Storm2k (but didn't make any threats), so was just letting you know he's on the warpath; might try and sneak on to post some more "official" GOLFROCK/ MWHC forecast products :D
