It looks like most of the weather should stay south of you.It does have a northerly componet to it though.

We will get some rain but the bulk of the strong wave will pass south over the Caribbean Sea waters unless it splits and the northern part moves our way and if that occurs then more significant rain may arrive at Puerto Rico.

Louis do you think the wave approaching you has a chance to develop, flaring up pretty good this evening. Climatology says no, but maybe when it reaches the central or western Caribbean if the upper low (trough) continues to track west conditions should improve?

No chance where it is now but when it arrives at the western caribbean maybe.
