Recon mission will most likely

be cancelled for 93L. Thunderstorm activity over the water has decreased except for a recent explosion near land in the extreme Southern Bay Of Campeche. I'm not saying there will not be another explosion over water this morning because it probably will. After viewing several satellite loops I can't detect any turning whatsoever, even on IR2. I see no reason to waste a mission on this Wave at this time. Of course things could change quickly, but I doubt it. Remember, it is rare for TC to develop in the BOC any time because they usually move inland before development occurs. That's probably what is going to occur here. Just my opinion though! 8-)

There is a circulation, but that has already move inland over Mexico since yesterday. I'm suprised recon hasn't been cancelled already.

Me too. That thing looks horrible now. I would not have created this thread had I known this was already discussed in another thread. Must have been buried because I did not see it until George posted. OOPS. :oops:
