There seems to be the first signs of a spin

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Thanks weatherwindow. I have been watching this area very closely an the ciruatlion I seen earlier this morning has had a large area of convection move over it. The thing is there is a trough digging shear into it. In if it digs to much more it could just all go poof. But if it doe's not change I would not be surprized if recon found something....Kind of like tropical storm Dean of a few years ago.

I will keep watching...

Ive always wondered what the other hurricane geeks do in the off season. Im not really much into winter weather; I spend the off season tracking the nor'easters that pummel the east coast. If I didnt have that to do I would probably go nuts.

It looks as if there's a tight circulation center due south of the western tip of Jamaica, but all the storms are being blown off to the east

Get heavily involved in watching lots of TV... and I follow the occasional snow scare down here(mention of flurries and everyone panics), continue my following of world events too.

That always kills me - mention a .0005% chance of snow, you can't
find milk, bread, or eggs in any grocery store.
