The huge dry air mass over the GOM seems to be retreating tonight:

I'd love for it to leave so we can get our afternoon thunderstorms going again. I HATE WATERING THE GRASS!!!

Actually it was nice not to have any rain for a day down here. grass has gotten all the water it needs so far 8-)

So much rain down here, we've had about 14-15 inches of rain total for the last 2 weeks.... the ground needs wrung out!!!!!! And the mosquitos are breeding in the standing water in our ditches in the front yard. Went to pull the car in the garage tonight and got attacked!!!

Cold front (Bad term for June!) Is heading south...Local met SAID IT SHOULD ACTUALLY Push into GOMEX by Friday! That along with the HP may cause for some interesting steering!

Cold fronts in the GOM sometimes turn into tropical systems! Brett or Cindy?
