Having troble with Chatroom

Hi I am new to this forum and have tried many times to gain access to the chatroom.

When I do try, it appears to be going fine but then all of a sudden it will kick me off IE and take me back to my desktop.

Any suggestions?

I could be wrong but are you trying to open a new IE window after you're in the chatroom? If so, try opening a new window before you go in there. This is just a guess...I don't use Java for chat (I use MIRC) and I don't use IE either (I use Firefox).

If that's not it, I really don't know. I've never heard of anyone having that problem. Maybe someone more computer-tech savvy can help.

I'll ask my husband to take a look. He is not into chat rooms but he may be able to steer me in the right direction.

You have to make sure you have Java loaded. Some versions of Windows didn't come with it.
