I kinda remember this type of thing with Danny...most of the convection ended up on the west side. That happens some times when storms have sucked up dry air. I think that most of the rain will be over mobile, but the wind will be evenly distributed over the area. It just isnt a tight storm so the wind is not concentrated anywhere. As far as becoming a hurricane...its a moot point. The pressure may drop some in the couple hours, but you still have a lopsided tropical system with very little in the way of wind over 50mph(wherever it may be felt)
