finally there is some red and orange firing in the NW quadrant...Mobile county and the eastern shore of Baldwin will see more in the way of rain and convective bursts that gulf shores, and pensacola

From Sat Imagery and Radar Imagery, it actually looks like the worst weather will be to the west of the center, unless she continues to wrap.

I kinda remember this type of thing with Danny...most of the convection ended up on the west side. That happens some times when storms have sucked up dry air. I think that most of the rain will be over mobile, but the wind will be evenly distributed over the area. It just isnt a tight storm so the wind is not concentrated anywhere. As far as becoming a hurricane...its a moot point. The pressure may drop some in the couple hours, but you still have a lopsided tropical system with very little in the way of wind over 50mph(wherever it may be felt)
