Even if it does hit Mobile, i'm sure the media will say it was a Florida landfall. :D

Is that the center in the lower right or just an area out of radar range? If it's the center, surely looks like Mobile to me too. But the panhandle will get the brunt.

I think Arlene passes Mobile I posted in another thread that a trend has started to the W.
24N_________84.9W
>1.0_______ >.1
25N_________85.0W
>.7________ >.2
25.7N_______85.2W
>.7________>.4
26.4N_______85.6W
>.7________>.5
27.1N_______86.1W

I see her coming in at 88.5W give or take a little plot it out you will see a curve.

If so, wouldn't that be about the same approach Elena had on its "return" trip from the Big Bend?

You cant see the center from the Mobile radar....its too far out. Only way of seeing the center on radar is through the NW florida radar.

Could be the same approach Ixolib my history is rusty on tracks. The numbers do not lie I extrapolated this earlier at work and did not give quite as much give W and came to 88.5W.Once you graph it out it really becomes apparent.
