Will New Orleans be placed back in the "cone"?

#1 Postby cind52 » Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:42 pm

With the movement to the west.. will New Orleans be placed back in the cone? What can we expect here? Will it move this far? The reason I ask is that on my local forum some posters are hinting that this willl happen at the next update. Cind52 Thanks in advance for you reply.

I doubt it... it's not really moving west as in "off the track". It's pretty much on track. Landfall looks to be either in Baldwin County, AL or the Western Panhandle around Pensacola tomorrow around Noon.

I was looking on the Navy site and Arlene is right on track. The latest coordinates fall right on top of the line.

Western Panhandle becoming unlikely now. That requires a due North movement from now on.
