Arlene's outrunning the forecasts...

#1 Postby ncweatherwizard » Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:41 pm

I don't know if anyone has noticed or said anything about this, but Arlene is outrunning the forecasts, and many of the previous model runs. Been wanting to say this most of the day, but I've been in and out too much; anyhow, at this rate, the storm will be there by late morning.

The other day everyone was in disagreement with the models on how fast the models brought Arlene to the coast.

good, because they've cancelled all the flights into FWB and I want my husband to be able to get home! He's been in Alaska all week. Leaves there in a couple of hours. will be heckuva long day for him. wont be home til 8pm tomorrow night! he might rent a car and drive from Atlanta.
