2 to 4 feet according to the NHC. That's actually about to what to expect with a borderline Cat 1 hurricane.

Anyone know when high tides are tomorrow along the Panhandle?

The northern central gulfcoast area cities are about halfway down.

Looks like they are very close to the expected landfall time. 1:44 at Destin, 2:55 at Pensacola Bay.

There is one problem even with this small a surge this time, it is the fact that in alot of places there is very little beach left after Ivan. Some places along the beach here in Destin you can spit from the back of ocean front Condo's/homes and land it in the surf!!!

Yeah. Ya know, I've commented several times about hoping the thing goes east of me, but I'm kind of ashamed to the extent it's landing right back on you guys that went through so much with Ivan. I'm glad it's not me, but I'm sorry it's happening to you folks.
