Probably not much more... 75-80 mph at most. She only has 12-18 hours left.

She'll really have to wrap on her west and south side to get higher than that.

could very well stay 70mph...but my current thinking is the NHC will give it cane status...might go as high as 80

I think this maybe as high as 85 mph at landfall. Reasons is that when storms move in(With favable enough enviroments)They cores tighten. In this thing sure has alot of energy to do so. Plus the ocnvection is really bombing tonight.

Bret in 1999 was a Cat 4. Hit as a Cat 3 where no one lived though.
