I'm still not 100% sure where the main center of Arlene is.

It's a guesstimate either way.. They say so basically in the duscussion(multiple vortices).. Maybe RECON can change that..

Here is a much better and more frequently Updated Make your own loop site...

You can pick whatever speed you want the loop to play, how much to zoom. Where to zoom, etc.

Is this what's causing TWC to have such a "jagged" line on its on-screen trackig map? I mean, is Arlene really jogging left and right to the degree that their grahpic depicts?

I'm guessing that the center is around 25.3N 85.1W.

Hey, maybe I get lucky!

According to the 2pm advisory, this ship report is for real.

The ship report is certainly real. Question is, is it accurate? I am looping a 12-hr plot of land/ship/buoy reports and see quite a few ships tracking across the Gulf and NW Caribbean. Many of the ships' pressures seem to be quite different from nearby land areas/buoys. Bottom line, we don't know if the shi's barometer was calibrated recently.
