TS Watch for Upper Gulf Coast

Just heard on the radio that a watch has been issued from Morgan City to Indian Pass.

Why do they pick cities that I've never heard of? If I don't get a graphic with these warnings, I have to pull out the map.
I'm a native Floridian, and I've never heard of these cities.

I know, it's not larger cities that deem where the watches are, it's the weather. Where do you guys get your graphics for the watches? That way I don't have to find them on my map.

you can find many graphics right here on storm2k.org. From the main page just click on Warnings and Advisories at the top and then you can see the full US or you click on a state to zoom into the state

I think they call 'em "break points" or something similar... Someone posted a map of all of them last year. Perhaps they will post it again.

Most of them are on county lines or statelines so that half a county won't be under it and half won't. It's easier on the NWS local forecasts too.
