Wow 180 degrees with 45 knot winds(Flight level)=50 mph reduced to surface is around 45 mph?

See thats on the east Quad. They are just now sampling the East and NOrtheast Quad. I tried to explain this last night. They criss-cross the storm. NW-SE then SW-NE. So hold on that isn't even the max flight level.

yes that is the East quad where all the convection is. That why you should never give up when you see the first vortex message.

By the way they did find a Max flight level wind of 36 Knots in the SE quad on the outbound a while ago. So this is still a Tropical Storm.

Max flight level winds at 36 knots is only around 41 or so mph at flight level=Around 35 mph surface.

170 degrees at 44 knots

Lets say 45=50 mph flight level so it is now 45 mph.
