Yikes! GFDL brings Arlene to me!

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I love the Grand buffets.... and I certainly don't want yall to miss any work, but I'd sure like to.. ....

heck I'd sit in my front yard in my lawn chair in a weak Cat 1 watching the surge come in.... actually I've done just that, sipping on a cold Barqe's Root Beer....

I'm waiting for the Treasure Bay to break free from its docking and land in my front yard about 3 miles to its west... and then I'm going to claim salvage rights.... like the tug boat in Gulfport from Camille... hehe

Well, we usually get a scare every summer just to have the storm turn at the last minute and hit somewhere else. I still have a feeling this is going west of us (sorry FLA panhandle residents). However, with all the water it has to cross and all the dry air it yet has to run into I dont think we are looking at a mega storm. Tropical storm, big rain producer and some limb breaking winds. However, if we did have to take one this year this would probably be the best one to take as they will be worse most likely from here on out.

Don't forget that before it can track on any of the current models it must first proceed though Florida. Sorry I don't make the rules...... 8-)
