Hello from TX!

I have a question.

Will the upper Sonoran heat ridge keep the moisture from TD 1 away from Texas?

Thanks.

No. There is no ridge. There is a big trof over the western US with westerlies located over Texas. That is what will keep moisture away from Texas.

Shear is the answer you are looking for.
