Just a reminder, the 53rd Weather Recon Squadron out of Keesler AFB has already departed for 90L. You can check here for decoded observations as well as in our chatroom. Or... you can come to the chatroom just to chat about 90L. Click on the Chatroom link at the top of your screen (and remember to supply a nickname!) or if you're using an IRC client (such as mIRC)...

Notice they are flying at 23kft and are far away from the Invest. They just took off from KBIX.

and they were near a T-Storm so they're probably hitting those showers just off the SE La. coast.

Right. The lat/long puts it at 47mi E of Grand Isle, LA

No problem at all! This year I even have an excel shreadsheeet that decodes much of it for me.
