Perhaps we will get recon today

Watch this area in the loop - it's firing pretty well this morning, and with
the models strongly hinting at this developing, we'll probably get recon
today.

Yup....I just noticed that on the 1345 enhanced image. Convection is possibly begin to fire around the "center".

They are supposed to leave around Noon so I'm presuming the decision has probably been made(or will be very soon). Guess we'll know on the 11:30 TWO

Seeing as the flight plan has been scheduled, the only surprise is them NOT going, as that would be a change. It seems alot of people think they are "thinking" about going.....its scheduled, the POD is out, has been out since yesterday. That said, I could see it getting cancelled....its not until 3pm CST so we have a bit to wait....

Cheers,
loon

edit: my fault, maybe its 1145 they are leaving....

I'm almost certain they will investigate this on schedule.

If my brother in law wasn't in Iraq, I could find out in 2 minutes.

With the latest 14:15utc, looking at the visible loop the system seems as though its about to get going with a slight N drift.

I think it's moving between 0 and 10 degrees - N or just east of due north.
