Maybe this could be the start of what the models are picking up on that will move into the GOM.

http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT ... -loop.html . it looks like the low is over HOnduras because of the circulation of the clouds heading south on the Pacific side and north off the NE coast of Honduras.
