There is lots and lots of juicy convection off the LA. coast.

Looks like a MCS to me..doubt if anything will come out of it but its something to look at.

In the past 10 or so years I've only seen one MCS form a tropical system and that was Danny back in the late 90's. I know Alicia formed this way in the 80's but it seems to be a rare occurence. Not saying don't watch these things but most of the time they do not pose a threat and will go "poof" in no time.
