Wish I had a nickel......

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

They are just saying that there is really very little chance of this system developing into a TC.

So you believe they actually read this board and care what we say?

They became more aware of sites like this last year with the interviews being held with them. So do the read the board, I don't know. Would they really, I don't know. But just in case they do...

I'm sure they probably spent more time watching out for stuff, than coming here though.

I think some would be surprised who does read this and other weather sites. We do have several members, some who are identified by their pro met logos, who are NWS employees. There are others, some who are not identified who are professional mets who work for the NWS and possibly the NHC and of course several who work for the private weather services also. Do I think they will make decisions on wording based on what they might see here? It is doubtful, but I always like to err on the side of "safety" when I am wording/discussing something.
