this is the point exactly I think.
I know it is an open forum and I know there are pros and amateurs here.
I am definitely an amateur and would never think of attempting any forecasting.
I do leave that to the experts.
However, I have to say, and I hope no one takes offense here, that I do get a little irritated sometimes by some of my fellow amateurs who post on every little cluster of clouds as if it might turn into something big.
they try to offer facts that aren't really facts, and it can be annoying.
It's hard for me then to find which posts to read ( there are so many this time of year)
and I really want to spend my time reading reliable information.
since it is an open fourm, I do not know how you control that though.
I do know that the bottom line is that we all will be irritated by other posts from time to time. In that case I think that honest criticism is okay but we all need to be nice to each other and stay civil.
