He was the one who said it, his big mouth seems primed to give us a test of how his product has less poison than french fries....
I can't believe the government would allow him to do this, potentially a massive dose of goo into the food chain. If a fish ate this stuff.....never mind! Remind me to cross off seafood from my diet if it happens

here's a problem that the idiots don't even consider, showing that they have ZERO idea regarding atmospheric dynamics, and I learned this from a member of HRD, ebfore an AMS officers meeting.
Their plan only involves eliminating the rainfall. However, everyone knows that the potential energy of a TC is the water vapor. By eliminating the rainfall, there is the danger of allowing for a VERY high amount of TPW to be in the storm, not being converted into KE via precip. Once the plane leaves, the danger is that the hurricane will explode.
But of course, these morons are too stupid to actually look at any atmospheric quations, etc

Do you think its at all possible that this is why Charley bombed?
If so this guy needs to be arrest in changed for all the deaths in damages of hurricane Charley.

Here is what I think. When water/rainfall gets Evaporated(Sorry for bad spelling) It releases its laten heat into the Atmosphere. What these people(Dingdongmat) don't get is a hurricane runs on heat not the rain. In which they will be helping to release more into the Atmosphere. I think that is what derek means.
Water meets dry air then it Evaporates into the storm=The storm gets more powerful.

See when rain Evaporates it releases its heat. These people don't know or don't care what there doing.

So, he creates a giant flying maxi-pad that just disappears into thin air?
I would rather not be under said maxi-pad when it fails to disintegrate and falls from the sky onto some poor city, suffocating thousands under what is essentially the biggest glob of diaper you've ever seen.

After all, it's not nice to fool Mother Nature.
Without even considering or mentioning the political implications, what about the fact that the Amazon RainForest is vanishing at a rapid rate due to de-forestation projects and illegal logging. 9,169 square miles of rain forest were cut down in 2003 alone. (http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Amazon-Rainforest)
Many scientists and environmentalists say that world weather patterns have and will continue to change as the forest disappears. Personally, I don't know enough about tropical weather to know if losing the the forest can impact storm formation.
Any (non-political, please!) opinions?

Suppose something went wrong and the Dyn-o-Mat STRENGTHENED the hurricane?
Leave Mother Nature alone!
After all, it's not nice to fool Mother Nature.
Couldn't resist.
Maybe we should try Chiffon margarine in a hurricane?

Only if there's an enormous warm biscuit waiting for the cane to spread itself on. Yum.

Sheesh Duckie......I'm nattering on about the rain forest and the state of the world and you're giggling about..about CHIFFON MARGERINE? What could I have been thinking? (Slaps head)
Actually, it isn't butter but that Chiffon stuff ain't half bad. Pass the English muffins, please.

These people would increase there chances if they used a 1,000 nuclear bombs. The shock wave that comes out of it might mess up the cirulation. Thats only if we made them into on big honken bomb. The blast wave would act like shear. That is just a theory. Tell me where I'm wrong pro's of storm2k?
This theory is up in the air.

I'm telling ya, I have a syndrome that has yet to be named. The slightest hint of almost anything related to past pop culture triggers a bizarre response from me where I either get a song or catch phrase stuck in my head for hours. I failed to mentioned that I was already singing, "Guess who's back....back again...guess who's back...tell a friend...guess who's back...guess who's back...guess who's back...guess who's back...ba-da-da...."
