TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 PM EDT THU JUN 2 2005

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

A LARGE AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM THE
WESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA NORTHWARD ACROSS CUBA...FLORIDA AND THE
EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO IS PRIMARILY ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL
TROUGH. ALTHOUGH SURFACE PRESSURES ARE LOW IN THE NORTHWESTERN
CARIBBEAN...UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE NOT FAVORABLE FOR TROPICAL
CYCLONE FORMATION. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS WILL LIKELY CONTINUE OVER
THIS AREA FOR THE NEXT DAY OR SO.

A WESTWARD MOVING TROPICAL WAVE WILL LIKELY BRING CLOUDINESS AND
SHOWERS THROUGH THE WINDWARD ISLANDS DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.
TROPICAL CYCLONE DEVELOPMENT IS NOT ANTICIPATED.

TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY.

FORECASTER AVILA

Nothing more about these two systems as upper conditions are not favorable but they will be rainmakers.

With all due respect to Mr. Avila, I'm surprised he wrote that much. He's normally a "to the point" kind of man.

Each of them have their stron points. I like Stewart and Beven best,
but that's just me.

I know Avilla has got to be tired. his name has been at the bottom of every TWO but one, so far this season. WOW!!! :roll:
