The Weather Channel has outlived their time. CNN had better hurricane coverage when storms were bearing down last year. Plus, anyone with a broadband internet connection can watch streaming webcasts from local TV stations in the storm's path, giving an unmatched local flavor that captures the intensity of the situation.

Yep... I watched far more of the cable news networks last year during hurricane season than I did TWC.
