That just looks like percenteges to me.

NO seems a bit low as does Mobile but thats it.

For one thing, they break appropriate scientific method by taking out the percentages to the decimal point. Any landfall prediction taking into account standard error parameters should not list a number beyond the whole number integer value. Doing otherwise is irresponsible and a violation of scientific practice.

What he was getting at was the spelling of Brownsville... or in AccuWeather's case: Brownsvlle.

My first take on the graphic is that the "dry push" is originating from the moist Gulf. I guess they mean the dry push is at the tip of the arrows.

Actually, that isn't the original picture. Accuweather changed the graphic after this thread was created. The original image was percentages for a landfall hurricane for given US cities. In the graphic, they misspelled Brownsville as "Brownsvlle" (without an i).
