Yeah, bummer for them!! Thunderstorms rolled through here a few hours ago and deposited 1.85" of pcpn into my collector. NWS recorded 2.20" and we have an urban flood advisory in effect. In the Upper Keys today, they had it much worse--almost 6" of rainfall. It's all from that blob was sitting out in the Gulf a few days ago. Forecast calls for it to remain with us through tomorrow. That coupled with our hail event on Sunday has really got the tourists moaning. Bummer.

Harry...I know what you mean...Tourists Moaning due to the cancellation of the sunset celebration. I was down in Key West when TS Barry moved overhead in July 2001...the storms were pretty when they were moving in, but it sure spoiled the evening events!

Oh yeaugh, speaking of Calm Key West, I have a live webcam from Duval Street from Key West. It's nice to watch sometimes, especially on a busy night., I went down there one time in February 2001 to escape the cold for awhile in Minnesota ! It was wonderful....

I loved my trip to the keys. It was one of the most relaxing vacations Ive had in a looong time. :) Duval street was a load of fun... spent quite a few hours at Hogs'breath and Rum runners!

The most beautiful storm I have ever seen was when I was down there on Christmas morning.
