Looks like we got are selfs a nice powerful MLC southwest of Cycloneye. Maybe if it gets out into the Atlantic then maybe watchable. Yes I know it but I have seen tropical depression ore weak tropical storms form out of the blue.

I highly doubt it. There really isn't anything at all to that system. I wouldn't even say there's any circulation with that whatsoever.

Agree Senorpepr. I doubt this will form into anything at all.

Looks at the slight twist at 16 north/68 west. That is what I'm looking at. I don't think this is down to the surface but things like this have done it before. I will look at the shear maps to see what the current upper levels are.

I did not say that this will become anything.

Nope, unless I need my eyes check (which is a good possibility, I haven't had enough sleep in forever and a Monday.)

All you're are really seeing is the evolution of the thunderstorm. It actually looks similar to thunderstorms in the Plains...

They look nice, but the cloud tops are warming -- weakening. Oh darn.

Yeah, those thunderstorms are sure cool! Don't you like them during the summer? I love the lightning... but its disappointing when the storms die due to the warming of the cloud tops, right?

Hey how's it going?? hhahaahah that was great reading that. I've been lurking the past few weeks, anxious for the start of the season. I have a feeling were going to get a few interesting storms; with a lot of LATE nights for us. hehehhe

I can't wait to fight to see who get get the latest (advisory/sat. map/guidance). Its going to be a lot of fun.

Great to see you all on here again!
