Max Mayfield, the Director of the National Hurricane Center, was
on the Mississippi Gulf Coast today, along with David Johnson, the
director of NOAA.
Their point was simple:
"We can have the best, most accurate forecast possible, but if people
do not act on it, then it is for nought" - David Johnson

That occasion was when around noon they announced the NOAA 2005 hurricane outlook.
