Yes, looks like EPAC will have its first depression soon. And, with the stearing flow towards the NE I'd be willing to speculate that C America is in for a storm.......MGC

Yeah, looks like a closed circulation, and it's getting some more convection near the center. Getting more interesting.

The banding has increased during the afternoon. Looking better and better. It will interesting to watch the upcoming model runs.

There's an additional swirl 6-8N-ish near Costa Rica/Panama in the EPAC.

Wow they put text in there but its still weird. 'Formation in 36 hours'. If anyone is looking to make some money off the government quickly draw up plans for a book on this tropical cyclone, get them looked over by a lawyer tomorrow morning, and sue the government for emotional and financial damages if the storm doesn't form.

Donations would be appreciated in case of legal triumph.
