#1 Postby Jevo » Thu May 12, 2005 6:45 am

Join Mike Watkins on Talkin Tropics tonight at 8:30 for in-depth coverage of the Florida Governors Hurricane Conference. Some of the items to look for tonight are interviews with the top names in Meteorology and Hurricane Forecasting, interviews with EOC directors from around the state, and Mike's take on the conference. If you were not able to attend the conference we will give you a description of what it was like to be there and the general atmosphere of the conference.

I can tell you that the team got a lot of great interviews from the show! Look forward to these airing on TalkinTropics and the Tropical Roundtable over the next month at least. In-depth interviews were conducted with Dr Gray, Max Mayfield, Dr Jack Bevens, and many many many more professionals across the board in the tropical field. the board should be very proud of the professionalism displayed by all involved. I was personally very proud of our group! It was a pleasure to be a part of the team! :-)

Ditto that and Thanks Marshall! It was a real pleasure to finally meet you and Chad as well as the rest of the Radio NHCWX Team.

I agree everything turned out real well for our first conference as a Team with Radio NHCWX and Storm2K.. Not only did we get some fantastic interviews and pictures but we were very much appreciated at the conference. With our understanding of the weather and related issues we made a very good impression and were told so a number of times..

We had no official table and only a couple shirts between me and Mike Watkins but things worked out very well.. Low Key but very productive..We could have used even more help and are looking for more people to get involved anytime..When you get a variety professionals like that together every interview is valuable.. It was Excellent :)
