Is this what the models are picking up on to give the NE islands a good drenching.

Lets hope that whatever comes out of this stays away from Hispaniola..They don't need a repeat of what happened there last May.

Today at the conference I sat right next to a Very prominent NHC forecaster for 30+ minutes and we were checking into something developing in the SW Carribean the whole time..definately some possibilities.. It was awesome to see him surf the web just like us for data. I even helped him find the SST's maps on the NHC site being things have changed recently and I knew exactly where they were.. Max Mayfield gave a very good presentation with lots of humour. The NHC people are some real class acts. What an awesome day. :D
