the South Caribbean later today. Doesn't seem to be keen on moving westerly anytime soon:

Almost 8:30 p.m. and the S. Caribbean is still looking pretty hot. Might be worth watching a bit.

Thanks for the info, Luis. Yes, indeed, the watching begins -- hard to believe. Hope you aren't hit with flooding from the wet forecast.

Way to much upper level wind shear. Development looks really unlikely for now. I would still watch the system over the northwestern Atlantic, that system is alot more interesting.
