Strong East Coast Ridge Forecasted to Develop Next Week

#1 Postby gatorcane » Wed May 04, 2005 8:26 pm

The low in south FL will move NE and by Sun/Mon of next week we'll see the ridge build in across the Southeast as a strong high settles in between FL and Bermuda. Good thing there are no canes out there because the doors will be open next week. Look at the low-level and mid-level winds next week across FL. It looks like last May

Last May we didn't have to worry about canes. If it looks like the same as last august then I will worry

yeah me too but last year the ridging started early in May. I remember we had strong E winds most of the month. The same ridging stuck around most of the summer.

I hear ya...way too much emphasis being put on this high when hurricanes can hit Florida from virtually every direction.
