Hou/Galvers,
I kind of stopped "organizing" the season get-togethers because, well it just didn't seem like anyone was interested in meeting. Do we all still feel that way? Since it's a hurricane season get-together, I like to meet in Galveston, but obviously I'm open to opinions.
It seemed as if there were the following concerns:
- day of the week (saturdays are busy, but sundays are family)
- location (houston is too far/galveston is too far)
- shyness (I don't want to come out of my hole)
- previous commitments (just came down to Galveston LAST week to meet up with people!!)
I won't feel bad - I just want to know what the interest level is.

Chances are that an end-of-season (or close to the end) bash would work better for me than one now or mid-season. School, continuing ed classes for work, family reunions (not even my family, but I'm invited 
), and other stuff already in the mix for the next couple of months. Also, the First Annual Galveston Jean Laffite festival is in November (need to check again on the date). But I really make it to this year's Hou/Galver S2K get-together!
