I Know we have all beaten this ridge thing to death lately. Just thought I would throw this in from the National Weather Service Office Melbourne Forecast Discussion Tuesday Morning May 3
SAT-MON...STRONG RIDGE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE EASTERN HALF OF THE
COUNTRY BEHIND THE DEPARTING LOW. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED
JUST NORTH OF THE REGION WILL SLIDE INTO THE WESTERN ATLANTIC
PRODUCING AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF ONSHORE FLOW...COOLER THAN AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES AND RAIN-FREE CONDITIONS.
Not sure what, if anything this means for the upcoming season.
Guess we will see. Comments welcome

Even if this high pressure is not there all summer but is there for several days during periods when storms are present is all it takes.
Its interesting to learn about & follow the weather patterns to see what may or may not transpire down the road but to know what exactly will take place durimg a matter of days 4 months from now will always be impossible.Thats how these situations develop during a span of a few days & its impossible to know now what events will take place 1 week in Sept.
