Invitation from the Florida Govenor's Office

#1 Postby Guest » Thu Apr 14, 2005 10:50 am

I have recieved an invatation from Gov. Jeb Bush's office to join the P-3 Tour when they stop in Jacksonville, Fl in early May. This is the tour that the State of Florida official's take with the Hurricane Hunter's and the forecasters and director of the NHC.
The tentative date is May 6, and they will be at the Jacksonville International Airport.
I have been told I will be able to interview whomever is there, take pictures, plus be given a tour of the P-3 Orion Hurricane Hunter, and the state emergency mobile command center. So I'm a bit excited about the invite!
This is only the beginning of an exciting season!!
